Patrons

    Relationship

Your patron is a creature with like and dislikes, feelings and preferences...just like you! Your relationship with your patron will determine how inclined they are to help you (or not). Just because fate brought you together doesn't mean a great relationship is automatic. If you never let them help you, or constantly ignore their advice, it's most likely that they'll have an opinion on that, potentially refusing to help you.

Relationships are determined based on a points system. Actions taken (at the GM's discretion) will result in points added or subtracted from your total.

The scale of points to status is as follows:

    • 1-3 points = Level 1 (Bad)
    • 4-6 points = Level 2 (Poor)
    • 7-9 points = Level 3 (Neutral)
    • 10-12 points = Level 4 (Fair)
    • 13-15 points = Level 5 (Good)
    • 16-18 points = Level 6 (Great)

    Bonus

Bonuses for summoning your patron for help are as follows:

    • Bad: Roll a D4
      • 1-3 = -1 to your action
      • 4 = +1 to your action
    • Poor: Roll a D4
      • 1-2 = -1 to your action
      • 3-4 = +1 to your action
    • Neutral:
      • +1 to your action
    • Fair: Roll a D4
      • 1-3 = +1 to your action
      • 4 = +2 to your action
    • Good
      • 1 = +1 to your action
      • 2-4 = +2 to your action
    • Great
      • +3 to your action

    Actions

Different actions will gain or lose points. If you aren't sure if what you're doing applies, speak to the GM. Obviously, there are other actions that may affect you and your patron, but again, remain up to the discretion of the GM.
